GROWTH MINDSET ASSEMBLY

60 minutes of high energy and interactive assembly that sets the tone for growth mindset, it creates a link between famous successes and the hard work they put it, painting the picture  that success is accessible for all. 

Story Vs. Glory
The media rarely takes us behind the scenes of a famous success therefore we walk around think that they are super humans and we're just mere mortals. We are shown the glory, the award ceremony, the millions of views on their videos, but we rarely do we get to see the gory side their glory.

GROWTH MINDSET WORKSHOP

IN THE WORKSHOP WE AIM TO CHANGE 3 THINGS THAT IS GUARANTEED TO DEVELOP A GROWTH MINDSET. ​
LANGUAGE
​What students say to themselves will always affect their thoughts, so we share with them the growth mindset language. Things to say in a time of struggle, when they face criticism, when they hit a brick wall. 
THOUGHTS
​The mind is centre of it all, therefore we plant the seed of powerful thoughts they can cultivate to make them feel that success is possible, making them confident and happy learners.
ACTIONS
All of the above is useless with practical things to do to reinforce the growth mindset. The students are given actions to take that will build on their knowledge to then make them champion at learning and tackling life’s challenges.​

  • Know how to improve learning and skills using the growth mindset tools

​Students will receive a handout explaining the Growth Mindset principles, something they can later refer to.

FIXUP ONLINE ACADEMY

STUDENTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO AN ONLINE PORTAL OF PRACTICAL VIDEOS THAT ACTS AS A FOLLOW UP TOOL FOR THEM TO USE AT HOME OR IN SCHOOL. IT IS  A SERIES OF FUNNY BUT EDUCATIONAL CONTENT THAT CREATES A SUSTAINABLE FORUM FOR THE KNOWLEDGE TO BE FULLY EMBEDDED. 

STAFF RESOURCES

Staff will be given access to a short video explaining what the day is about and how to reinforce the messages in the classroom, so that there is a “one focus” culture that's created across the year group.

PARENTAL RESOURCES

​Parents play a vital role in the students growth that's why they will be equipped with simple video tools to bring them in the picture and to help them know how they can support there kids in this growth mindset process.
